Three solo performers with and without disabilities— Judith Harding, Tekki Lomnicki and Rosemary Postula reveal how they perfected the art of breaking up. Each night they will be joined by a different “One Night Stand” from Chicago’s thriving Live Lit community who will read their stories, ranging from an advertising exec turned Green Mill bouncer, to a gamer who found himself and his ex living in a video game. The opening night performance/ fundraiser on Friday, August 2 includes an After Party with the cast and crew. All tickets are available here.
Judith Harding’s Trigger Warning is about family and firearms: breaking up, breaking down, frayed relationships mending and unraveling.
In Red Flags Tekki Lomnicki ignores all of the warning signs and plunges head first into a disastrous engagement.
RO Talk finds Rosemary Postula kicking out TED to talk you through mistakes, survival and when you think you’ve found yourself…there’s still more to find.
One Night Stands include Madeline O’Malley, 8/2; Scott Woldman, 8/3; Jill Howe, 8/4; Shawn Cobb, 8/9; Stephen Donart, 8/10 and Robert Teverbaugh 8/11.
